The MRQ-001 aircraft is mainly used to determine the lubricity of aviation turbine fuel. The aircraft adopts a friction pair composed of standard steel balls and standard test rings. Under controlled test conditions, the size of the wear marks generated on the steel balls is used to evaluate the boundary lubrication performance of aviation fuel.
